“Seeing you lowered into the ground broke my heart” – Nikky Laoye tearfully morns Sammie Okposo (Video)

Gospel musician, Nikky Laoye tearfully mourns her colleague, Sammie Okposo after he was laid to rest yesterday, the 15th of December.

It will be recalled that we reported the gospel singer’s painful passing on Friday, November 25, at the age of 51.

A tribute night was held for him on Tuesday, December 13 in Lagos State, followed by a service of songs on Wednesday, December 15.

Mourning his demise amid being laid to rest, Nikky took to Instagram to share a lengthy piece.

“😔 Bros ee, Mo Cover e o ( I Covered You) till the very end. Been trying to be strong for Aunty Ozy but she was so distraught, it broke my heart to see her in so much pain as you were lowered into the ground. God pls comfort your daughter,soak her heart and mind in so much love and peace.

Comfort His Children (Alula & Fejiro),His Siblings, His Family and Friends at this time O Lord. Seeing you in that casket,watching you being lowered into the ground was super heart breaking for me,the last thing I ever imagined to happen this year.

Especially 4 days to my birthday..so you won’t call me this year? Hmmmm
Our Angel, Watch over us oo…We got Aunty Ozy, We will continue to make sure she’s okay and we will keep her in our prayers always.
She misses you so much.
