Ryan Spiteri Biography: Early Life, Career & Net Worth

Ryan Spiteri is an Australian WBFF Pro Muscle Model and online personal trainer known for his expertise in fat loss and muscle building.

Ryan’s first contact with weights was when he was 16 years old. At 59 kg, he began training with the goal of becoming stronger and adding more muscular mass. Ryan didn’t see real results until he met his coach, Mike, and in just one month, he was able to pack on one kilogram of lean mass.

After months of intense training, Ryan caught “the lifting bug” and chose to devote his future to the sport. Over time, his knowledge of nutrition and training expanded significantly, as did his physique. He later became an online personal trainer and fitness competitor, winning titles like WBFF Pro Muscle Model and Sydney Fitness Expo INBA Fitness Model.

However, Ryan’s route to success was not always simple and uncomplicated. He was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident that sent him to the hospital with a smashed ankle. He was unable to train his legs for more than six months, losing four kilograms of hard-earned muscle.

Ryan Spiteri was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, and has always had a strong interest in sports. He received his first motorcycle when he was five years old, and later became interested in snowboarding, BMX riding, and waterskiing.

Ryan’s fitness adventure began at the age of 15, when he set out to add muscle bulk to his slender physique. However, he had limited expertise of proper training techniques. Initially, he would perform push-ups and sit-ups in his bedroom many times per week.

One year later, he purchased his first pair of dumbbells, some weights, and a barbell. Still unsure of how to lift weights properly, he began experimenting with numerous training variations; his improvement was modest but visible.

Ryan knew what he wanted to accomplish with his life by the age of 17, so he quit school at the end of year 11. He enrolled in a draughtsman school and began working part-time as a McDonald’s employee.

Career

After outgrowing his light weights at home, Ryan purchased his first gym membership to exercise with greater weights and better equipment.

He soon met his instructor and later-to-be friend, Mike, who put him on a training and eating regimen. Ryan found the diet quite effective, gaining four kg in just one month.

Ryan was involved in a motorcycle accident on August 27th, 2011, which resulted in his shattering his ankle and being admitted to the hospital. He spent one month in a wheelchair and more than two months on crutches.

Unsurprisingly, he lost more than four kg of muscular mass and was unable to exercise his legs for the next six months. However, Ryan was determined that he would return stronger than ever and learn from the misfortune.

After recovering from his injuries, Ryan began “hitting” his legs in the gym twice a week. In a short period of time, he was able to restore them to their previous state.

Over the next few years, Ryan made the most of his gym membership and worked exceedingly hard. At the 2012 Fitness Expo, he met one of his inspirations, Steve Cook. Steve shared some of his fitness concepts and approach with Ryan, inspiring him to begin competing as a fitness athlete.

Ryan started preparing for his first show, hoping to one day achieve Steve’s status in the bodybuilding industry. Ryan made his debut in the Men’s Physique division of the Sydney Fitness Expo INBA Fitness Model in 2013. He took the stage and finished in second place, an impressive result.

By the end of 2013, Ryan had established a reputation for himself in Australia. He was sponsored by two different corporations, which enabled him to expand his reach beyond the confines of ‘the land Down Under’. He immediately began offering online training and fat-loss programs, as well as his own fitness and lifestyle company.

Ryan Spiteri has a successful career behind him. He had to work hard to acquire the level of success he presently has. He began his fitness adventure with passion and a goal in mind, and he persevered even after suffering a severe ankle injury.

His attitude and endurance in such difficult conditions established his destiny as successful. If anything, Ryan demonstrated that possessing such qualities is essential if you want to flourish both inside and outside of the bodybuilding community.
