LActress Rita Dominic ( born on July 12, 1975), is a Nigerian award winning Nollywood actress, producer, model, TV personality, investor, and philanthropist, who has won the Best Actress in a Leading Role prize from the 2012 Africa Movie Academy Awards.
She is said to be one of the Audrey Silva Company’s co-founders. She is regarded as one of Nigeria’s highest-paid and most energetic actresses in Nollywood. She is the CEO of Rita Dominic Productions and currently serves as a GLO Ambassador.

Rita Uchenna Nkem Dominic Nwaturuocha was born in Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria, on July 12, 1975. She is a member of the Royal Nwaturuocha Family and hails from Imo State’s Aboh Mbaise local government. She is the youngest of the four children.
Her late parents worked in medicine. Her mother was a nurse, while her father practiced medicine. Rita Dominic attended the prestigious Federal Government College in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Port Harcourt and got a BA (Honours) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999.
Career
Rita Dominic began performing as a young girl, making appearances in Imo State children’s television shows and school plays. She starred in her first film, A Time to Kill, in 1998. The Therapist, Light in the Dark, Bound, The Blindspot, and Desecration are just a few of the films she has made.
She has won many awards over the years. In 2013 and 2017, she also took home the top actress prize for the film The Meeting. She earned the best actress in a television series. Dominic received the Most Outstanding Actress at the 2004 City People Awards. Dominic has appeared in more than 100 Nollywood productions.
She has worked with many Nigerian Nollywood actors such as Ini Edo, Genevieve Nnaji, amongst others.
