Relationship coach warns men against one-sided relationships
A relationship coach shares her views on financial and emotional reciprocity in romantic relationships, cautioning men against remaining in what she described as one-sided relationships.
In the viral video, the coach argued that when a woman consistently receives support from a man without offering any form of giving in return, no matter how small, it may signal exploitation rather than genuine love.
She maintained that affection naturally comes with a desire to give, regardless of gender.
According to her, while men are often socially conditioned to provide, women who are truly in love also feel compelled to give back through thoughtful gestures, even if they are modest.
She cited examples such as buying a partner’s favourite snack, a simple shirt, or any item that shows consideration.
She further explained that true reciprocity should be reflected in everyday actions rather than limited to special occasions like birthdays or Valentine’s Day.
In her view, consistent imbalance in effort and generosity is a red flag that should prompt serious reflection about the relationship.

“You are spending on a girl and the girl is not spending on you, the girl is using you. I shouldn’t be telling you these things now; you should know by now no matter how broke she is she should be able to give you something no matter how little. Once in a while she goes out while coming back she could she can’t even get you your favorite snack. You gave her some money to go shop for clothes for herself. And while coming back, she couldn’t even get you a polo. Not even a shirt. She knows what she is doing. She is using you. You keep pouring in her, but she is not pouring in you. Trust me when I say she knows what she is doing. A girl who is in love with you will spend on you. You’re a man. You love to provide, yes. You know the same way you feel when you are in love. That urge to always give to her. Women feel it too. And if you are receiving nothing from her, then that relationship is worth examining. A woman that truly loves you once in a while. She will be like, baby, I saw this and I decided to get this for you. Baby, it’s your favorite color. Baby, I don’t know. I heard this thing is actually nice. So I got it for you. What do you think? No matter how little, if she is not doing it, then… You are simple in fact. I don’t want you to be deceived if she is not reciprocating that energy. She’s not doing those things. And when I say gift, I don’t mean birthday, Valentine, not those occasional things. Randomly, the same way you do yours randomly. If she is not doing them, should I still tell you what to do? I doubt. You’re welcome.”
