Ramsey Nouah Jr. (born December 19, 1970) is a Nigerian actor and film director. He received the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2010 for his performance in the film The Figurine.
He made his directorial debut in 2019 with the film Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, and later directed the Nollywood classic Rattle Snake: The Ahanna Story, a remake of Rattlesnake (1995).

Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Jr. was born in Lagos on December 19, 1970, to a Lebanese father and a Yoruba mother from Owo, Ondo state. He grew up in Surulere, Lagos, and attended Atara Primary and Community Grammar Schools. He graduated from the University of Lagos with a diploma in Mass Communications and went on to work in the film industry.
Career
Nouah began acting in the early 1990s to fund his GCE studies. His acting career began when he played Jeff Akin-Thomas in the Nigerian TV serial opera Fortunes. He has since acted in countless films as the lead, earning the nickname “Lover-Boy” for his many love roles.
He is also regarded as one of Nigeria’s most popular actors. In 2015, Nouah acquired the rights to the 1992 film Living in Bondage for a potential remake. In 2018, he revealed that his remake has become a sequel, Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, which was released on November 8, 2019. Nouah, who played the new villain, made his directing debut, and the film took home seven Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
