Primate Ayodele predicts ‘election of mass destruction’ in 2027, warns Atiku

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has described the 2027 general election as an “election of mass destruction”, predicting that several politicians and political parties could suffer major setbacks.

Ayodele made the remarks in a video circulating on social media, where he also issued a warning to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the opposition coalition.

‘A top party will sink’

According to Ayodele, the 2027 election could bring significant political losses, particularly for politicians who fail to prepare strategically.

“Nigeria election 2027, I will call it election of mass destruction. Yes, because a top party will sink.”

He claimed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would retain its strength in the South-West, while saying he had not seen significant support for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the South-West and South-South regions.

“APC will win South-West. ADC, I have not seen ADC in South-West. South-South, I have not seen ADC there,” he said.

Ayodele warns Atiku

The cleric also directed his remarks at Atiku, urging him to be more strategic and listen to advice ahead of the election.

“If Atiku doesn’t listen, if he is not following instructions, he will lose this election,” Ayodele said.

He added that Atiku could face difficulties if he failed to respond to what he described as the realities of the political landscape.

“If Atiku is not strategic enough, if Atiku doesn’t want to listen to the truth, few people will listen to Atiku,” he said.

Ayodele further warned that people surrounding the former vice president could contribute to his political difficulties.

“People who are trying to guide you, they will mislead you,” he said.

‘So many politicians will sink’

Ayodele predicted that several serving politicians could fail to return to office after the 2027 elections.

“So many politicians will sink in 2027. They will go into oblivion; they will not be remembered again,” he said.

He added that not all serving senators and members of the House of Representatives would retain their seats.

“Not all the senators will win. The present senators will go back to the House. Not all the House of Assembly and House of Representatives members will go back to the House,” he said.

Cleric predicts tougher contest for opposition

Ayodele also alleged that the 2027 election would be a difficult contest for opposition politicians and claimed that efforts to rig elections were already underway.

“The rigging now is on. The rigging is going on now, now, now. And Atiku have not seen it; ADC have not seen it,” he said.

He warned that opposition politicians and their associates could face further political challenges.

“If you like, list him; if you like, don’t list him. And if people who is second term, he will show you pepper, all of the opposition,” Ayodele said.

‘The victory of Tinubu is the end of opposition’

Towards the end of the video, Ayodele made a further prediction concerning President Bola Tinubu and the opposition.

“The victory of Tinubu is the end of opposition,” he declared.

Ayodele, however, said he would make another prediction in October concerning who he believes God has chosen as Nigeria’s next president.

“Atiku, I repeat again, in October, I will say whoever that God says will be the next president, and I will stand by it,” he said.

His comments come as political parties and opposition groups begin positioning themselves ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.
