Poco Lee faces UK court over attempted rape, four other sexual offences

Nigerian dancer and socialite Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has reportedly been charged in the United Kingdom (UK) with attempted rape and four other sexual offences.

According to reports obtained from Punch, the charges were confirmed on Wednesday by Snaresbrook Crown Court in London, which disclosed that a reporting restriction had been placed on the case to protect the anonymity of the complainant.

The court’s Admin Team Leader, James Baker, confirmed the charges in an official email to Punch and revealed that the case has been scheduled for plea and trial preparation on September 15, 2026.

“The defendant has been charged with: Attempted rape, 2x Rape, 2x Assault by penetration. There is a reporting restriction on the case provided. This order protects the anonymity of the complainant under section 1 of the Sexual Offences Amendment Act 1992,” Baker stated:

Poco Lee, who is known for his career as a dancer and his involvement in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, is yet to publicly address the reported charges.
