“Pls help me” – Man cries out after mistakenly buying N90,000 data instead of N9k

A young Nigerian man has turned to social media for help after mistakenly purchasing mobile data worth N90,000.

The young man revealed that he intended to buy data worth N9,000 but mistakenly entered N90,000, resulting in a massive loss.

Mistaken Data Purchase

The incident occurred when the man, identified by his X app handle @sadeeq_malo, tried to top up his MTN line with data.

Instead of the intended N9,000, he mistakenly entered N90,000.

This error gave him an overwhelming 480 GB of mobile data, far more than he needed.

Public Plea for Assistance

Sharing his predicament online, the man asked for guidance on how to convert the unused data into airtime or cash.

He also called on MTN Nigeria to intervene and help resolve the situation.

In his words:

“I mistakenly bought 90k Data on My MTN Sim instead of 9k. Please, can someone help me how to convert this Data to Airtime or Money. Dear MTNNG, please do something. Please help me retweet this; your single retweet might help me, thank you.”
