“Please stop peeing on the streets, you are traumatizing my eyes” – Lady pleads to men

A woman has taken to social media to plead with men to stop urinating on streets, calling it an eyesore and a public health concern. In her emotional post, she urged collective action to address the issue.
“Please let’s come together as a nation and ban men from peeing on the streets. Please, dear men, stop peeing on the street. You are traumatizing my eyes,” she said.
She expressed shock at witnessing public urination, describing it as completely unexpected and unnecessary.
“Unexpectedly, I didn’t know that someone would do that. We don’t need to see that. Yeah, please save the nation, you are like,” she added, highlighting the emotional impact such behaviour has on bystanders.
Calls for civic responsibility
The incident has reignited debates on public sanitation in Nigeria, where open urination remains a challenge in both urban and rural areas.
Experts stress that proper public facilities, awareness campaigns, and civic responsibility are crucial in curbing such practices.
Her message resonates beyond mere hygiene concerns, touching on respect, dignity, and the shared responsibility of citizens to maintain clean public spaces.
Citizens and social media users have echoed her frustration, calling for stricter enforcement of sanitation laws and behavioural change.
