“Please be careful”- Biker Kola Onifoto’s mother’s warning to him before his demise emerges
A chat between popular biker, Kola Onifoto and his mother has emerged online following his passing.
Notably, Kola Onifoto’s demise has left social media in shock, with condolences and tributes flooding in.
The biker passed away on March 2, 2026, after a motorcycle accident in Lagos. He was 32 years old and was on his first solo bike trip outside Lagos, heading to Akure.
Kola Onifotos Chat With His Mother
Amid the grief, Nigerians have dug up a WhatsApp chat between Kola Onifoto and his mother, posted to his Facebook page on February 24, 2025.
In the chat, his mother checked in on him and urged him to ‘be wary of the son of who he was.
”Good morning, hope you are okay?. Hope you are okay please be careful always remember the son of whom you are,” The message reads.
However, Kola replied, ‘Motigbo’ (I have heard you), acknowledging his mother’s warning .
During his lifetime, Kola was a multifaceted individual who worked as an Uber driver, naval officer, and writer.
He was passionate about biking and had recently achieved his dream of becoming a biker, sharing a photo of himself with his new motorcycle on social media.
Kola was known for his adventurous spirit and his commitment to helping others.
