Patoranking recounts how Timaya changed his life; says he wouldn’t be successful without him [Video]

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie also known as Patoranking, has recounted the moment a fellow singer, Timaya changed his life in 2011.

Timaya, officially Inetimi Alfred Odon is a music veteran who achieved success way back in 2007.

He has been a source of inspiration and help to so many up-and-coming artistes in the country.

For Patoranking, the singer skyrocketed his career after he pulled him out of the ghetto.

According to the famous reggae-dancehall singer, after meeting Timaya in 2007, he visited his home in 2011 where Timaya played host to him; fed him, and compelled him to make a hit track before leaving his house.

Fortunately for Patoranking, that was the moment he got into the spotlight as Timaya took care of the bills, paid for the recordings and also paid for the video of his hit song Alubarika, and the rest was history.
