“Our eyes met”- Man shares heartbreaking encounter of being slapped by lady at mall
A man’s post detailing why he was slapped by a lady at a mall has gone viral online.
The man, @Doyinbiolaa on X (formerly Twitter), shared that the incident stemmed from taking photos of the lady.
Man Speaks Out
According to the X user, while at the mall, he attempted to get some snacks when he crossed paths with the lady, who was bending down to pick an item, and ended up taking her photo.
”Then I saw a girl bending down to pick something. I think, “This would make a nice candid shot.” only I forgot the shutter sound was ON. Click. She looked up,our eyes met.. And suddenly, I realize I might have just triggered a full-blown Lagos crisis”, The tweet reads in part.
Lady Slaps Man
In a surprising twist, the lady walked up to him and asked why he took her photo.
Even before he could respond, she slapped him but didn’t retaliate further.
Sharing what transpired after the incident at the mall, the X user narrated, “Face burning, my snacks trembling in my hands,was just standing there, questioning everything about life choices and mall safety”.
