Osimhen value now €150m, says Galatasaray VP

Galatasaray vice president Abdullah Kavukcu has suggested that the market value of Victor Osimhen has doubled to €150 million, ahead of the club’s UEFA Champions League knockout phase playoff against Juventus in Turin.

Kavukcu made the remarks in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, reflecting on the striker’s impact since joining the Turkish champions on a permanent deal last summer.

From €75m clause to €150m estimate

Galatasaray triggered Osimhen’s €75 million release clause to secure his signature from Napoli, a move that drew criticism at the time due to the scale of the investment.

“When we bought him, many people talked about it as a crazy investment. I think Victor proved everyone wrong, considering his value has doubled,” Kavukcu said.

He added: “We know he’s one of the best centre-forwards in the world, and we want to achieve great things together.”

If valued at €150 million, Osimhen’s estimated price tag would represent a significant capital gain for the Istanbul-based club within a year of acquisition.

European interest intensifies

The Nigeria international has recently been linked with several elite European sides, including Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

On the pitch, Osimhen has delivered 15 goals and five assists in 23 appearances this season, keeping his reputation as one of Europe’s leading centre-forwards.

He also holds a favourable record against Juventus, registering six wins and two defeats in eight previous meetings with the Serie A side.

With Galatasaray preparing for a decisive European fixture, the forward’s performance could further influence discussions around his long-term future and valuation.
