Victor Osimhen is tipped to move to the Premier League this summer after rejecting a lucrative offer from Al Ahli in the January transfer window.

This is according to Turkish pundit Bülent Timurlenk.

The Nigerian striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been one of the most sought-after strikers in the transfer market.

He has been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United, and Juventus, but a switch to Saudi Arabia was also on the cards.

Speaking on Sports Digitale, Timurlenk revealed that Al Ahli had tabled an €81 million bid this winter.

The deal would have seen €75 million go to Napoli and €6 million to Galatasaray, while Osimhen was offered a staggering €30 million per year in wages.

However, the Super Eagles star turned down the offer.

Timurlenk also highlighted that Juventus’ pursuit of Osimhen is complicated, as Napoli’s €75 million release clause applies only to clubs outside Italy, significantly reducing Juve’s chances of signing him.

“Juventus also wants him, but Napoli’s €75 million release clause applies to teams outside of Italy. Juventus doesn’t have much of a chance.”

Instead, he believes a move to the Premier League is the most likely outcome:

“I think he will continue his career in England next year. The fact that he rejected such a large sum of money is a sign of that,” he added.
