Osimhen resumes training after suffering arm injury, Galatasaray confirm

Galatasaray have confirmed that striker Victor Osimhen has resumed training as he continues recovery from a fractured right forearm.
The Nigerian international has returned to gym-based sessions after completing the initial phase of rehabilitation, marking a key step in his recovery process.
Osimhen sustained the injury in March during a UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool FC following a collision with defender Ibrahima Konaté, which required surgical intervention.

Club monitoring gradual comeback
Galatasaray confirmed that the surgery was successful and that the player is progressing well under medical supervision. The club emphasised that his workload is being carefully managed to ensure a safe return to full fitness.
While Osimhen has now resumed light training, no timeline has been set for his return to competitive action.
The medical team is expected to continue assessing his condition in the coming weeks before integrating him back into full team sessions.
The club also highlighted the forward’s professionalism during recovery, noting steady progress and a strong commitment to rehabilitation.
Osimhen has been a key figure for Galatasaray this season, and his absence was a setback during a crucial stage of the campaign.
