Onyedika back for Brugge ahead of Champions League clash against Marseille

Raphael Onyedika has returned to Club Brugge’s squad ahead of their crucial UEFA Champions League fixture against Olympic Marseille.

The Nigerian midfielder missed last week’s trip to Kairat Almaty in Kazakhstan after picking up a muscle injury. He had also only recently returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty, prompting the club to manage his fitness.

Boost ahead of decisive fixture

Onyedika’s availability comes at a critical time for Club Brugge as they chase a place in the Champions League knockout rounds.

The Belgian side currently sit 27th on the overall league table and need a strong result to keep their qualification hopes alive.

Key figure in midfield

The 24-year-old has been a regular presence in Brugge’s European campaign this season. He has made eight appearances in the competition, scoring once, and remains a key component of the club’s midfield structure.

Club Brugge will be hoping Onyedika’s return will be a major boost as they prepare for a demanding test against Marseille.
