Odogwu Asaba’s wife breaks silence, stands by husband amid allegations
The wife of Asaba-based content creator Odogwu Asaba has spoken out following allegations against her husband involving a 20-year-old woman who died by suicide.
In a video shared online, she said she had not been silent about the matter but had been trying to follow the appropriate process rather than respond publicly.

She alleged that bloggers had used pictures of her and her children while tracking their movements, which she said was intended to create fear.
The woman maintained that, regardless of what happened, Odogwu Asaba remains her husband and she stands by him completely.
She also urged the public not to rely solely on social media narratives, stressing that she had learned more about the case before deciding to speak publicly.
According to her, the circumstances surrounding the matter were not entirely as they had been presented online, adding that social media should not be treated as a courtroom.
She further maintained that the allegations should not be judged emotionally because a person had died, while insisting that her husband did not kill anyone.
