“Now that I’m single, nobody is disturbing me” – Lady laments sudden change after marriage crash
A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to express her frustration after noticing a sudden change in how men treat her following the end of her marriage.
According to her, while she was still married, several men constantly flooded her direct messages, showing interest despite being aware of her marital status.
In her words, she said:
“All those guys, where una dey? Those ones that were disturbing me when I was still in my husband’s house, chatting me up and down. Despite the fact that I was married, some of them no get fear.”
She further revealed that now that she is no longer with her husband, the same men who once showed interest have completely disappeared.
The woman expressed confusion over the situation, noting that she expected more attention now that she is single, not the opposite.
“Now that the opportunity has come, I’m not in my husband’s house again, nobody is disturbing me. The opportunity has come, no one is coming forward again,” she added.
Her post has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many users sharing their opinions on attraction, timing, and human behavior.
One user wrote, “Men like what they can’t have 😭” while another added, “Now you’re available, they lost interest, but I hope you didn’t leave your marriage because of any man?”
