Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has made headlines after being named Africa’s poorest billionaire by Forbes.

‎It would be recalled that Forbes recently released the list of Africa’s richest men, with Aliko Dangote topping the list with an estimated net worth of $28.5 billion.

‎According to the Forbes report, Aliko Dangote is $4.6 billion richer this year, as shares of his NGX-listed cement company surged nearly 69% in March 2025.
