“No one will see this and refuse to vote for Mr. President” – Okpebholo hails Tinubu during project inspection in Edo

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the visible transformation of a major road in the state, saying residents who witness the development have every reason to support the President ahead of 2027 elections.

Speaking during an inspection of the rehabilitated road, the governor noted how far the state has come compared to the previous condition of the route.

“There’s no man in Edo who can see this road today and say he won’t vote for the President, because if the road were still like it used to be, nobody would be able to pass during the rainy season,” he said.

Before the rehabilitation, the road was almost impassable, especially during heavy rains, making travel extremely difficult for motorists and residents alike.

The improvement, according to Governor Okpebholo, not only eases transportation but also encourages economic activities in the area.

He emphasized that infrastructure development plays a crucial role in connecting communities and improving the daily lives of citizens.

The governor’s comments have sparked discussions online, with many Nigerians praising the road project, while others debated whether public infrastructure should influence political support.
