“No lies detected!” — Peter Okoye reacts as Ajebo Comedian blames Alex Ekubo’s death on bloggers

Nigerian music star Peter Okoye has reacted emotionally to claims by comedian and content creator Ajebo Comedian that online bullying and false rumours contributed to the late actor Alex Ekubo’s struggles before his death.
Peter, popularly known as one-half of the music duo P-Square, shared his thoughts while reacting to a post made by Ajebo Comedian, who accused bloggers and social media users of relentlessly bullying the Nollywood actor.
Reacting in the comment section, Peter wrote: “No lies detected! They think all celebrities have thick skin, forgetting some are soft souls behind the spotlight. It is well. Continue resting in peace Alex!”
Ajebo Comedian blames online bullying
In an emotional statement shared online, Ajebo Comedian alleged that constant criticism, rumours, and harsh comments deeply affected Alex Ekubo emotionally.
According to him, the actor struggled after his engagement was cancelled, while false claims about his sexuality further intensified public scrutiny around his private life.
Ajebo Comedian wrote: “Y’all stupid blogs killed ALEX. Y’all in the comment section killed him.
“You bullied a man in pain, he had a cancelled engagement and all you could come up with was lies that he was gay.
“He broke down, he cried, he withdrew, He was depressed. It affected his family, his bro was bullied in school.
“Y’all killed Him. ALEX WAS FULL OF LIFE, ENERGY, HE WAS A GOOD GUY. You guys play with people’s lives and emotions in the name of cruise. Happy now?”
