In the video shared on Instagram by @mediagist, the MAVIN Records boss was spotted at the age of 9 performing the hit song by veteran singer, Blackky, titled Rosie.

In the impressive clip, the young Don Jazzy seemed to be at a children’s party when he boldly took charge centre stage and held the microphone to perform the hit song at the time.

In other news, sensational Johnny Drille, a Nigerian singer, has explained the idea behind his hit song ‘How Are You My Friend’.

According to him, the death of Don Jazzy’s mum inspired the hit song. He revealed this in a recent Hip TV interview.

Johnny Drille revealed that he co-wrote ‘How Are You My Friend’ with Don Jazzy and that the song was the Mavin boss’ idea.

“The inspiration behind ‘How Are You My Friend’ was Don Jazzy having just lost his mother like a couple of weeks prior,” he explained to Hip TV.

“I guess the song was his own way of talking about it because a lot of people were reaching out to him who he hadn’t heard from in years.”

So, it just kind of hit him that, ‘Omo, I actually have these many pals that I have not communicated with for so long.’
