Nnamdi Kanu: “I promise everyone henceforth you all shall see fire” – Biafra Army issues threat

A self‑proclaimed commander of the Biafra Liberation Army, C‑ROZ, has issued strong threats following Nnamdi Kanu’s life sentence.
The Nnamdi Kanu life sentence has continued to stir reactions across the South East.
C‑ROZ reacts sharply after court ruling
On 20 November 2025, Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja sentenced the IPOB leader to life imprisonment.
The judgment has led to mixed feelings across communities, with some residents expressing fear that the decision may trigger unrest.
Commander blames residents for disobeying his order
Reacting to the Nnamdi Kanu life sentence, C‑ROZ went on his official X account, stating that many people in the South East ignored his sit‑at‑home order issued for that day.
He claimed that security deployments across the region were meant to stop compliance, and he expressed anger over the situation.
His comments spark concern
C‑ROZ wrote: “I promise everyone henceforth you all shall see fire for fire. I made a post ordering sit at home on the 20th. Immediately after the post, Nigeria sent all their armies to Biafra land to make sure they disrupt the sit at home order.
“But guess what, many of the Nigeria army paid the price. May they rest in pieces. Now I said please come again. All of you in the zoo will see hell henceforth. This is my promise.”
His statements have increased concerns about possible threats to peace in the region.
