Nigerian Police Assault Man For Not Wearing Face Mask (Video)

Twitter user, Hauwa Abdusalam has shared a video of a police officer assaulting a civilian because he didn’t put on his face mask.

In the video, the police man was seen, harassing the young man over face mask. When she offered to buy him mask, the police officers warned her to leave the place and mind her business.

Hauwa wrote;

“This happened right in front of my estate in Abuja. On my way out I saw police men chasing and manhandling a hungry pedestrian because he wasn’t wearing a mask.

I came down from the car and begged them to stop beating him while I offered to go back home or give them money to Buy him one but one of the police men started telling me to mind my business and get out and I said to him that I wouldn’t go anywhere till a solution was proffered and that was how he hit and pushed me then I decided to bring out my phone.

My phone was grabbed by one of them.by then people started stopping and begged me to leave before I get killed for nothing.
Things can’t continue this way!!!
I will never run away from speaking against injustice!”
