Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF) dedicates victories against US and Argentina to late Sound Sultan

As Nigeria at large continues to celebrate his impact and mourn the demise of the late Sound Sultan, the Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF) dedicates its victories to him.

NBBF dedicates Sound Sultan

The NBBF took to Twitter to dedicate their victories against US and Argentina to the late Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan.

The Icon who’s not only a singer and songwriter also made a great impact in the Basketball league in Nigeria.

Sound Sultan was a huge basketball enthusiast. He played in school and in 2015 acquired a stake in the Lagos Islanders, a Lagos-based basketball club founded in 1984.

He actively worked to promote the sport in Lagos and Nigeria.
