Ornella Rose Hollela, often known as Nella Rose, was born on July 20, 1997. She is a media figure of Congolese (DRC) and Belgian descent. Nella was born in Belgium but grew up in Northwest London after her family relocated to the United Kingdom when she was seven. She speaks fluent French and was reared with her older brother, Albert.

After graduating from high school in 2015, Nella Rose attended the University of Leicester and earned a 2.1 in sociology. Looking back on her college experience, she stated that she never wanted to go and would have preferred to acquire a job. However, she was well aware that if she did not go, her family would never let her forget it.

Career

Rose created a YouTube channel while studying at university and began publishing videos in 2016. She primarily does vlogs, but she also shares hair techniques and fashion hauls. Rose stated on her decision to make YouTube her primary career option, “[She’d] had opportunities to interview celebrities, present at shows, and go places [she] never could have.” She also received YouTuber of the Year at the PrettyLittleThing Influencer Awards.
