“My phone beeped”- Man shares amount Tony Elemelu credited his account after his mother’s burial
A man has shared how billionaire businessman, Tony Elumelu credited his account with N2 million after his mother’s funeral.
The man identified with the Facebook handle, Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, shared that Tony Elumelu, who recently surprised Charles Okocha, a Nollywood actor, with $50,000, reached out to him via phone call 2 weeks after his mother’s funeral.
Details Of The Phone Conversation
According to the Facebook user, the call caught him in a restaurant, and he spoke with the billionaire businessman in Igbo before switching to English.
During the conversation, Tony Elumelu extended his condolences over her death and apologized for his absence despite receiving an invitation letter.
However, the conversation took a shocking turn after he inquired about her age at death, the circumstances surrounding her demise, and ended the conversation by requesting his account details.
”I was in the middle of a transit when my phone beeped. I saw a 2 million naira alert from the man I fondly call Chairman, Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu (TOE)”, He stated.
