“My mum couldn’t believe it” – US-based lady pays family surprise visit after 5 years abroad
A lady has shared the heartwarming moment she surprised her parents with a visit from the US after five months.
The lady identified on TikTok as @gourmettwist decided to return abruptly after spending five months abroad.
The lady revealed that her mother was so overwhelmed with excitement because she had spoken with her a day before her return.
According to her, her driver lied to her mother that she needed to drop something in the house in order not to ruin the surprise.
Her mother was so shocked to see her and almost removed her clothes. The lady’s father smilrd in the video as he looked at his daughter.
She wrote; “MY MUM COULDN’T BELIEVE IT. WE HAD SPOKEN A DAY BEFORE WHILE I WAS STILL IN AMERICA, AND SHE COULDN’T GUESS A THING. I ARRIVED AT MY FAMILY HOUSE, MY DRIVER HAD CALLED HER FOR ACCESS INTO THE ESTATE AND LIED TO HER THAT HE HAD THINGS TO DROP OFF FOR HER.
“I WAS SO SCARED, YET SO HAPPY TO BE BACK. MY MUM WASN’T HOME, LUCKILY SHE WAS WITHIN THE ESTATE IN ONE OF HER SHORTLET APARTMENTS (@MAPLECRESTHOMES) GOT TO MY MUMS LOCATION AND HAD TO SNEAK IN THROUGH THE BACK DOOR SO SHE DOESN’T SEE. I ENTERED WHILE SHE WAS TALKING TO MY SISTER. SHE WAS SHOCKED!! SHE ALMOST REMOVED HER CLOTH BUT SHE SAW MY DRIVER RECORDING.
“LOL! SHE ALMOST FAINTED.
BUT SHE DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO FAINT. HER GUESTS WERE CONFUSED. SHE KEPT SHOUTING “CHIM O” WHICH MEANS “MY GOD” AND “UCHE” WHICH IS MY NAME. THEN THE CRYING STARTED. IT WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MOMENT. MY DAD AND HIS FRIENDS WERE AT THE BACK STARING AT MY DRAMA QUEEN.”
