Moffi debuts as Porto edge Nacional

Terem Moffi made his first appearance for FC Porto in a 1-0 victory over Nacional in Sunday’s Primeira Liga fixture.
The Nigerian forward, who joined Porto on loan from OGC Nice during the January transfer window, was introduced in the 74th minute as the visitors protected a slender lead to secure all three points.
Bednarek header decides contest
After dominating possession in the first half without finding a breakthrough, Porto eventually made the pressure count in the 60th minute.
Defender Jan Bednarek rose highest inside the penalty area to head home his first league goal for the club.

Nacional attempted to respond late on, pushing numbers forward in search of an equaliser.
However, Porto’s defence held firm to preserve the clean sheet and condemn the hosts to their 11th league defeat of the season. The result leaves Nacional just four points above the relegation zone.
Title charge continues
The win marked Porto’s 19th victory in 22 league matches this campaign. They now sit seven points clear of second-placed Sporting CP, although the reigning champions have a game in hand.
Beyond the result, Moffi’s introduction was a notable development for Porto. The 24-year-old arrives as reinforcement following the injury to first-choice striker Samuel Aghehowa.
Moffi will be aiming for increased minutes as he integrates into the squad. Porto return to league action next Sunday when they play host to Rio Ave.
