Mmesoma Ejikeme looking teary as she appears before committee, begs JAMB to revisit 3-year ban (Video)

An emerging video captures embattled JAMB student, Mmesoma Ejikeme, looking teary as she appeared before an ad-hoc committee.

Mmesoma and her counsel were spotted in the clip standing before the House of Reps Adhoc Committee.

JAMB insisted that their database is offline and cannot be manipulated, adding that 109 other candidates committed similar infractions in 2023.

Mmesoma Ejikeme again admitted forging UTME result, apologized to JAMB, while noting that ignorance led her to commiting the offence.

The embattled student who was seen with teary and sad eyes pleaded with JAMB to revisit three year ban placed on her for manipulating her JAMB result.

This is coming shortly after the Anambra State Commissioner of Education, Prof Chuma-Udeh suggested that the young lady’s behaviour may be attributed to a psychological issue, stating that individuals occasionally act in extreme and inexplicable ways, and it is not always a result of parental negligence.

She said:

“The human mind is full of complexities, and this is one of those cases of being a human being. I think it’s a psychological issue.

“Sometimes, people tend to behave ultra-viciously, and it’s not a result of poor parental training. Because when we asked her, she couldn’t provide a valid reason for her action.”
