Missing 6-month old baby abducted in Minna has been found safe

A 6-month-old baby boy, Chinedu Chukwueke, who was abducted from his mother’s salon shop in Kure Ultra Modern Market, Minna, Niger State, has been found safe and in good health.

The abduction occurred on Sunday, July 23, 2023, when a woman disguised as an intending apprentice visited the salon. Taking advantage of the busy atmosphere, she cunningly stole baby Chinedu, leaving his distraught mother and family in deep distress.

The news of the abduction quickly spread across the state, prompting a massive search and public appeals for information on the missing child.

After hours of agonizing uncertainty, there was a glimmer of hope as an update surfaced on social media.

Chukwueke’s father, who had been frantically searching for his son, took to Twitter to announce the joyful news. He expressed his gratitude to the public for their support and prayers during the difficult time.

The relieved father revealed that baby Chinedu was found abandoned at a refuse dump near the Gauraka Police Station. Despite the circumstances, the baby was fortunately discovered in good health, alleviating fears for his well-being.
