“Mirabel cannot be arrested for false accusation” – Verydarkman

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has addressed the controversy surrounding Mirabel, responding to calls for her arrest after she admitted her earlier assault claim was false.
In a video circulating online, he broke down why she cannot be charged with false accusation under the law.
No Identified Victim, No False Accusation
VeryDarkMan argued that for a case of false accusation to stand, there must be a clearly identified person who was wrongly accused.
According to him, Mirabel did not mention or directly accuse any specific individual.
Without a named victim, he said, the legal basis for charging her with false accusation does not exist.
Possible Charge: Spreading False Information
While dismissing claims of false accusation, he noted that authorities could instead examine the situation as a case of spreading false information.
He explained that such an offense may attract penalties, including up to seven years imprisonment or a fine, depending on the circumstances.
Addressing the issue, he said: “All right, so in respect to this Mirabel case, as you all know, Mirabel and I spoke, and then she opened up to me that the whole story about the grip is not true. She went on to tell me that she f@bricat£d the chats that she put up online. Now, because of this reason, majority of people on social media are saying that she should be arrested for a false acc¥s@tion. No, she cannot be arrested for f@lse acc¥s@tion because for it to become f@lse acc¥s@tion, that means they need to be somebody that was acc¥s£d. Do you understand? Let’s say they carry her to a police station and then table the matter to the DPO based on false acc¥s@tion. The DPO is going to say who was acc¥s£d. Bring in the person. Then you hear crickets because in this case, it’s totally different. She didn’t accus£ anybody. If you say they should arrest or charge her for f@lse information, I would say, okay, because I’m not even going to lie. What she did caused panic. A lot of people were disturbed. A lot of people were panicked. A lot of people were disturbed. And to think everything was all a lie. Yes, she should be charged for false information. The penalty for false information is seven years or a fine. It depends on the context. Do you understand? But false accusation, come on, the way all look now, men, everybody just, eh. Now, so they tell you to accuse men, but she didn’t accuse anybody…”

I see how everyone is saying Mirabel should be arrested for false accusation. Mirabel cannot be arrested for false accusation because for it to be a false accusation, there has to be someone who was actually accused. She didn’t accuse anybody.
