#BBNaijaS10: Mensan breaks down in tears as he, Sultana become finalists
The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house is getting more intense as two housemates, Mensan and Sultana, on Monday guaranteed themselves a place in the final week of the show after clinching immunity through separate wins.
It will be recalled that Sunday’s live eviction saw the exit of two prominent housemates, Kuture and Joanna, after a surprise eviction took place on Saturday, which bid Bright and Thelma goodbye.
Sultana wins Head of House challenge
Sultana emerged victorious in the Head of House (HOH) challenge, a feat that secured her safety from possible eviction this week.
Exercising her HOH privilege, she picked Isabella as her lounge guest, granting Isabella access to the luxurious HOH lounge and its perks.
Mensan crowned Most Influential Housemate
In another twist, Mensan earned the title of Most Influential Housemate of the Week, an accolade that also comes with immunity. With this, he joins Sultana as the second housemate assured of a spot in the grand finale.
It was, however, an emotional moment for Mensan, who was already tense before the announcement. Upon hearing his name, he broke down in tears, with Biggie assuring him of an end to the pressure on his shoulders.

11 housemates still in the race
Following these developments, 11 contestants remain in contention for the N150 million grand prize. They are: Rooboy, Mide, Kaybobo, Jason Jae, Dede, Kola, Koyin, Imisi, Faith, Isabella, and Zita.
From the 29 contestants who began the season, only 13 were left entering the ninth week. With just one week to the finale, tension in the house has reached a boiling point as fans eagerly watch to see who will survive the final eviction round and claim the ultimate prize.
