A woman has shared a heart-wrenching account of her friend who was kidnapped while travelling to Abuja, and subsequently killed after her family failed to raise a ₦100 million ransom.
Speaking on social media, the woman cried out: “May Nigeria never happen to you. A friend of mine travelling to Abuja was kidnapped, and her family was asked to pay a ₦100 million ransom. When they couldn’t raise the money, she was killed. Yet, with this level of insecurity under Tinubu, you still expect us to return to Nigeria.”
