Sport analyst, Mark Sanchez arrested following a stabbing incident in Indianapolis with details of the aftermath incident emerging online.

The former NFL quarterback turned Fox Sports analyst was arrested on Saturday, October 4 , 2025.

Earlier, reports emerged that he was stabbed in the Wholesale District nightlife area of Indy around 12:30 a.m.

According to police, this is believed to be an isolated incident as the other individual involved suffered from lacerations.

In a recent development from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), all parties involved in the incident have been identified.

Meanwhile, Fox News has released a statement regarding the incident, sending thoughts and prayers to Mark Sanchez.

Notably, Mark Sanchez joined Fox Sports in July 2021.

Prior to joining FOX Sports, he had a solid 10-year NFL career, playing for teams including the New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles Dallas Cowboys, and Washington.

Notably, Sanchez was drafted 5th overall by the Jets in 2009 after a stellar stint at USC.

He led the Trojans to a 12-1 record and a Rose Bowl victory in 2008 and  won the 2009 Rose Bowl MVP award with 413 passing yards and four touchdowns against Penn State.

Additionally, Mark Sanchez signed a five-year, $50 million deal with $28 million guaranteed with the Jets in 2009.
