A Twitter user by the name, Irun Mole has taken to the platform to discuss how a man who is his colleague at work, who earns 120k borrowed 800k to fund his wedding and will pay back in 12 months.
In his story; a colleague from work borrowed from the office funds the sum of 300k, for 50k to be deducted from his monthly salary. And he went further, to borrow 500k from a microfinance bank for the same purpose.
He had hoped that his guests would give him cash gifts so as to be able to pay off his debts.
Unfortunately, there were no such gifts. Instead, gas cylinders, plates, spoons, turning sticks, etc were given.
The man is in pain because he is indebted and to pay up all of his debts in 12 months’ time. As he still owes Mc and few others.
He went further to say that the reason why he spent lavishly for the wedding only was that his mother-in-law told him that,
“When I gave birth to your wife they told us she is a noisy child, so everything we do must be with fun fare and loudness”.
The unfortunate event at the moment is that the shop he rented for his wife is empty since there’s no money to restock and feed fine. They are both struggling to pay off their debts.

He rented a shop for his wife before wedding 1/6 months, she sells provisions.
Now the shop is empty and no money to restock because they’ve used most of The money to repay one debt or the other and also feed.
Now they have 8months running in an empty shop he’s trying
