Man who went viral online for collecting food with bare hands at Hilda Baci’s largest jollof rice cook-off has been offered assistance.

As previously reported by Gistreel, Hilda Baci’s highly anticipated world’s largest jollof rice cook-off was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, with over 20,000 attendees.

The event was a star-studded affair, featuring prominent dignitaries, including Funke Akindele, who joined Hilda Baci and her team during the preparation.

Recall that Hilda Baci made headlines in May 2023 after completing her record-breaking longest cooking marathon which lasted 93 hours and 11 minutes.

However, her record was dethroned by Alan Fisher, an Irish chef, who cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes.

According to a Facebook post from talent manager Onlyone Kesh, he expressed displeasure over the viral photo of the man who was served jollof rice with bare hands at Hilda Baci’s event.

Without disclosing details of the assistance, Onlyone Kesh criticized the server for lacking empathy and kindness.

In a recent TikTok post, Hilda Baci shared the ingredients used at her world’s largest pot of jollof rice cook-off, which included 4,000 kilograms of rice, 300 kilograms of onions, garlic, and ginger.
