Man shares how he met student driving Uber with brother’s car to pay his school fees

A Nigerian man has shared an encounter that left him impressed after meeting a student working as an Uber driver to support his education.

Unexpected Uber Ride Encounter

The incident was shared by X user @jon_d_doe (formerly Twitter), who said he ordered a ride and got talking with the driver during the trip.

He explained that the driver turned out to be a young student, and during their conversation, the student opened up about his situation.

Using Brother’s Car Raise School Fees

According to him, the student lives with his elder brother, who owns the car. He said his brother allowed him to use the vehicle during holidays as a way of earning income.

The brother reportedly told him he would not be paying his school fees but permitted him to use the vehicle during holidays to raise money for himself.

He wrote: “This month, I was in an Uber. The young man who drove me is a student. He was driving his brother’s car. He lives with him and he told him that he would not be paying his school fees, but that he can use the car to raise money for his school fees during holidays.”
