Man sends his girlfriend ₦35,000 for her Christmas hair while attaching strict instructions on how the money should be used.
In a series of messages that have since circulated on social media, the man directed his girlfriend to use the money strictly to braid her hair and ensure it is done tightly.
He instructed that the hairstyle must last until March, specifying that it should only be loosened on March 1.
He further warned her not to compare him with other men who allegedly spend between ₦200,000 and ₦500,000 on their partners’ hair.
According to him, if she preferred such treatment, she was free to find someone else willing to spend that amount.
Defending his position, the man referenced how she styled her hair when they first met, noting that she wore simple all-back braids at the time. He added that the ₦35,000 was already an upgrade meant to “promote” her appearance.
The man also stated that if she was dissatisfied with the money or its conditions, she should refund it so he could use it to place a sports betting wager.
