Man sacrifices fully funded India scholarship for girlfriend, ends up doing POS after she dumps him to marry another man
A Nigerian lady has shared the story of her cousin who reportedly rejected a fully funded BSc scholarship in Computer Engineering in India in 2020 because he did not want to lose his girlfriend.
The story was shared by @kenkenlewu on X, where she recounted how her cousin was already in 300 level when he received the scholarship opportunity.

She said members of the family advised him to accept the scholarship and travel to India, but his girlfriend allegedly threatened to end their relationship if he left Nigeria.
The man eventually chose to stay, telling his family, “I can’t risk my relationship.”
Girlfriend Later Moves to UK
After completing their NYSC, the couple reportedly went in different directions when the lady gained admission to study for her master’s degree in the United Kingdom.
The man reportedly suggested that they apply for a dependent visa so they could relocate together.
However, the lady allegedly told him, “I want to be alone over there and concentrate on my new life.”
The couple eventually broke up.
Lady Marries Another Man
The X user said the lady later married another man and now has two children.
Her cousin, who had earlier rejected the scholarship opportunity in India, reportedly remained in Nigeria.
She claimed that he is currently doing POS business.
