Man rushing father to hospital dies after crashing into parked trailer in Lugbe

A man rushing his ailing father to the hospital has died after crashing into a trailer along the Police Signboard area of Lugbe, Abuja.
Tragedy as man dies instantly
Initial reports claimed the trailer was parked, but an eyewitness later clarified that the vehicle was moving slowly in the fast lane at the time of the crash.
The victim, who was reportedly on a phone call while driving, ran directly into the back of the trailer and died instantly.
Social media reactions
Commenting on the incident, @medicalbaron expressed shock, saying, “I don’t even know how to feel right now. That father will never stop feeling guilty if he makes it out alive.”
Another witness, @Abujaautoplug, who said he was driving behind the victim’s Toyota Highlander, explained: “This accident happened right in front of me Wednesday afternoon. He ran straight into the trailer and the trailer wasn’t parked — it was moving slowly on a fast lane.”
@Choplifedoc added that the tragedy could likely have been avoided, noting: “This could’ve been prevented. So many safety issues.”
