Man left in shock as friend sells household items worth millions, disappears

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to recount how a childhood friend he accommodated allegedly betrayed his trust.

The man identified on X as @AbuchiHenr33850 took to the platform to raise alarm.

According to his post, he allowed the friend to stay with him last year after he needed a place to live.

However, months later, the situation took a troubling turn when the friend reportedly sold off several valuable items in his home.

The missing items allegedly include a television, PS5, gaming chair, and refrigerator, all estimated to be worth over ₦2 million.

The man also claimed that the friend is additionally owing him about ₦2 million in cash before disappearing without a trace.
