Man laments hardship, questions saying that ‘education is better than money’

A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after expressing frustration over his current struggles despite being educated.
In a video circulating on social media, the man reflected on school debates he participated in while growing up, where students were often asked to argue that education is more valuable than money.
He questioned the message he was taught at the time, saying that after completing his education he still finds himself struggling financially and searching for money to survive.
The man also expressed disappointment with teachers who encouraged students to defend the idea during debates, suggesting that life experiences have made him reconsider the belief.
He said …
“Abi na all those debates wey I do when I small when I say ‘Education is better than money’ abi na those things dey affect me now? That time with our full confidence, all those wicked evil teachers wey know the truth, dey go allow us dey defend that topic say ‘Education is better than money’. We go dey say hope I’ve been able to convince you and not confuse you, but I am confused right now. And all those teachers them no dey truth, make God no allow me swear for them. See person life now don spoil, all that education now, no be money person still dey find”
