Man laments as lady he met on Facebook disappears after sending her money to come cook for him

A Nigerian man identified as Chiukwudi Sunday has shared his experience after meeting a woman on Facebook whom he initially believed could become a romantic partner.

According to Chukwudi, the pair had been communicating for about a week before the woman contacted him on Friday, August 7, claiming that she was suffering from stomach ulcer and had not eaten since morning.

He said he sent her ₦2,000 to get food and later transferred another ₦3,000 after she said she needed money to purchase ulcer medication.

Woman reportedly promises to visit and cook for him

Chukwudi said the woman subsequently praised him for being kind and told him she wanted to visit him, cook for him and spend time together so they could get to know each other better.

According to him, he agreed and later sent her money to purchase ingredients for the proposed visit.

However, he claimed that after receiving the money, the woman began giving explanations about problems with her phone and eventually became unreachable.

Man says he was more hurt by the experience than the money

Chukwudi said the money itself was not his major concern, explaining that he had developed genuine feelings for the woman and was hoping the relationship would progress.

He expressed disappointment over what he described as her attitude, alleging that her actions made him suspect that she might have used similar tactics on other people.

The account remains the man’s allegation, and there is no independent confirmation of the woman’s identity or whether the incident amounted to fraud.

That she can’t access her phone again
That was how this bicth ended up fooling herself

The money is not my problem is that I love this girl so much and I am willing to be with her but her attitude, is like she has been doing this to people
