Man in shock after lady he lodged with in a hotel in Abuja flees with his car, other valuables

A Nigerian man has been left in shock after a young lady, identified as Precious Chinyere, allegedly absconded with his car and other personal belongings during a hotel stay in the Asokoro area of the Federal Capital Territory.

The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, February 5, when the man checked into a hotel with the lady for what was described as a romantic getaway.

By the following morning, the lady was said to have disappeared with his vehicle and valuables.

The case was reported at a police station in Abuja the next day.

Confirming the development, the spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that the matter is under investigation and that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspect.

Police authorities have assured the public that updates will be provided as investigations progress.
