Man celebrates buying baby food with menial job, praises supportive wife

A young South African man has captured the admiration of millions after sharing a heartfelt post about the humble job he took on to provide for his newborn daughter.
The man, known on X as @Trevor_sidogi, revealed that he cleaned someone’s yard to earn enough money to buy baby food.
“Guys please don’t laugh at me. With the payment I got after cleaning someone’s yard I have managed to buy these for my daughter ❤️❤️❤️. There is no little job,” he wrote.

The post, which has garnered over 5 million impressions, struck a chord with social media users who lauded his humility, dedication, and fatherly love.
In a follow-up post, Trevor gave more insight into his daily hustle and the incredible support he receives from his wife.
“I thank my wife ❤️ who supports my hustle. She sometimes helps me to manufacture soil bricks. It’s rare to find someone like her nowadays 😭❤️🙌🏽. I give her all my respect.”
“My wife helps me make ice blocks. During summer, we sell ice blocks, snacks, and ice cream at our little park. I have created the little park at the back of my yard. During holidays and when schools are closed, children come to play,” he wrote.
