Man amused as mum’s version of his car accident sends family into emergency mode

A man has amused social media users after recounting how a simple explanation about a minor car accident turned into a family-wide misunderstanding involving soldiers and a supposed trip to a military barracks.
The man explained that the incident happened while he was teaching a friend how to drive when the car was involved in an accident.
According to him, soldiers who happened to be passing by stopped to assist and helped tow the damaged vehicle to a mechanic’s workshop.
After informing his mother about the accident and assuring her that he was unhurt, he left his phone to take a bath. However, he returned to discover numerous missed calls from worried relatives.
Mother’s misunderstanding triggers family alarm
Sharing the experience, the man said, “Was involved in an accident with my car while teaching my friend how to drive. After the incident, I called my mom and told her I was involved in an accident, and that some soldiers who were passing by helped me out. They even towed my car to the mechanic’s workshop. I clearly told her I’m fine o. Then I dropped my phone and went to take my bath. I came back to meet 18 missed calls. I was surprised. “What’s going on here?” I asked. Guess what? The calls were from my Dad, my siblings, and other family members.”
The humorous account quickly resonated with many online, with users joking about how messages often become exaggerated as they are passed from one person to another.
