Muhammed Usman Adamu, popularly known as Magnito, is a popular Nigerian singer-songwriter and rapper. Magnito gained recognition among music fans in 2010 with his hit single “Medicine Girl,” which was widely broadcast. He then went on hiatus. In 2016, he returned with a bang, dropping another hit, “If I Get Money Ehn,” and improving his rap skills. Magnito has released several successful songs and collaborated with well-known artists. He continues to inspire and motivate many young Nigerians with his music.

Magnito is a skilled Nigerian musician who was born in Abuja on September 15, 1993. He is a native of Benue State and represents the Idoma people. His parents, known in the media as Mr. and Mrs. Adamu, raised him throughout his childhood.

Unfortunately, little is known about his siblings’ identities. Magnito grew up in Abuja and finished his primary and secondary education.

Magnito furthered his studies in 2007 by enrolling in the business management program at the University of Jos (Unijos), located in Plateau State.

Career

Magnito’s rap career began at the age of 19, when his friend Philosophy ignited the flame. They co-founded the Mic Checkers team. Magnito was inspired by celebrities such as Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and 2pac when he first started out as a rapper. Their different genres encouraged him to explore his musical talents.

DaCapo produced Magnito’s debut track, Tele Mi, which was released during his university years. He talked about the financial hardship of a N25,000 studio session, even selling his deck for N15,000 to make it happen in Abuja.

Magnito’s star began to rise after the release of “Medicine Girl” in 2010, a song that resonated widely. Magnito’s musical tapestry grew over time to encompass more than 85 songs, including successes like Kaka, Medicine Girl, Canada, and Relationship Be Like.

Magnito’s catalog grew through collaborations, such as the explosive Goat anthem, which included Ice Prince, DJ Kenny, and Karl Williams. Albums like Shocking News, Fresh Out 01, and his most recent masterpiece, Bars And Lamba, showcased his development.

This recent release, which features the abilities of Zanku master Zlatan Ibile, Umu Obiligbo, and the melodious Ninety, contains five fascinating tracks.

Personal Life

Magnito has chosen to keep his relationship status private. He purposefully avoids telling the media whether he has a girlfriend.

Furthermore, there is no evidence that he fathered any children. Despite his modest attitude toward personal relationships, Magnito acknowledged in an interview that he had been involved with several women during his dating adventures.
