Lukaku settles Napoli dispute after talks

Romelu Lukaku has resolved internal tensions with Napoli following what the club described as constructive discussions over his recent absence.
The striker met club officials in Naples after weeks away in Belgium, where he has been continuing rehabilitation from a hamstring injury.
Talks ease disciplinary concerns
Lukaku had faced potential disciplinary action after Napoli raised concerns that he failed to respond to a request to return to training in Italy.
However, meetings involving the player, his agent Federico Pastorello and sporting director Giovanni Manna have now led to a resolution.
The discussions were described as “calm, collaborative and constructive,” with both parties reaching an agreement and closing the issue.

Injury setback limits involvement
The 32-year-old has struggled for consistency this season due to injury, making only seven appearances.
His last outing came as a substitute in Napoli’s 2-1 win over Torino in early March, before a setback prolonged his absence from the squad.
During the talks, Lukaku provided an update on his recovery, with expectations that he could return to action within two weeks.
Focus shifts to reintegration
Napoli are now focused on reintegrating Lukaku into the squad as they navigate the closing phase of the season.
The striker’s availability is expected to strengthen attacking options, provided he regains full fitness.
