Luis Enrique plans seven signings including Osimhen after PSG CWC defeat to Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to sign up to seven new players this summer following their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final.

According to L’Équipe, the Champions League winners are planning a major squad overhaul, with head coach Luis Enrique identifying key positions that require urgent reinforcements ahead of the new season.

The Ligue 1 side are targeting two new central defenders, with Bournemouth’s Illya Zabarnyi among the primary candidates.

A €60 million deal for the Ukrainian is reportedly close. A second centre-back will be pursued if Lucas Beraldo is sold, with the Brazilian attracting interest from the Premier League.

PSG are also looking to strengthen both full-back positions, as the club aims to provide cover for Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes.

In midfield, no major exits are expected. Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Fabian Ruiz are set to stay, but the club want to add a more experienced midfielder.

Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich was a top target before extending his contract, forcing PSG to explore other options.

In attack, PSG remain interested in Victor Osimhen despite Galatasaray’s ongoing attempts to secure the Nigerian striker permanently.

AC Milan’s Rafael Leão is also a key target, with discussions ongoing.

The goalkeeper position will remain unchanged unless Gianluigi Donnarumma leaves.

Recall Manchester United are reportedly monitoring his situation, but Chelsea have dropped their interest.

The Parisian club begin their pre-season in two weeks and face Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup on August 13.
